Against all the odds, he chooses a misfit partner, and they attempt to win the Pan Pacific Championship. This is considered one of the 15 greatest dance movies of all time.

Synopsis: These are overlapping tales of several ordinary people living in Los Angeles, sharing similiar destinies, and death never seems to be very far away. This film was like a prototype for future films like CRASH.

STRICTLY BALLROOM will screen at the TFC Meeting Hall, located at 924 Broadway, street level in the Pythian Temple, on Friday, October 1, 2010.

SHORT CUTS will screen also at the TFC Meeting Hall, located at 924 Broadway, street level in the Pythian Temple, across the street from the Theater in the Square, on Friday, October 8, 2010.
