Werner Herzog’s documentary, Cave of Forgotten Dreams, opens at the Grand this weekend. Ron Boothe will be leading a discussion of the film following the 2:40 pm showing on Saturday, May 21. This documentary film allows us to explore the paintings inside the Chauvet caves of Southern France. These paintings were made by early humans over 30,000 years ago during the Upper Palaeolithic period. This documentary film will also be discussed as the theatrical discussion film of the Tacoma Film Club at our meeting on June 15, 2011.
